The Queen Victoria Building is a 19^th Century Shopping centre with glorious stained glass windows and architecture that endures throughout the building. Built in the 1890s, the grand building was originally constructed as a market, but today houses over 180 of Sydney's finest fashion boutiques, jewellery shops and homewares. The QVB occupies an entire city block on George Street and is one of Sydney's most prestigious shopping centres. It is also well worth a visit and easy to get to from ibis Sydney World Square. You will arrive after just a ten-minute walk up George Street.

Clustered around thriving Kensington Street, this cosmopolitan shopping, dining and entertainment district is lined with bars, cafés, shops, galleries and more. Offsetting all the activity, there are plenty of parks and open spaces appointed with walking and cycling paths, artwork, beautiful landscaping and plenty of lighting and seating for simply relaxing and taking in the scene.
